A loving nature, with plenty of fire and animation, her name befits her nature. The Palms Uptown girl was bred by the Greene Family of The Palms Arabians, who have concentrated on producing a smaller number of quality Arabians with unique bloodlines, and whose first and foremost concern is the wellbeing of their much-loved horses.

In the show scene Uptown Girl had always been up there with the best. Awarded Reserve Champion Mare at the Queensland Challenge Show four years in a row, her admirers felt it was only a matter of time before it was “her turn”. The 2005 East Coast Championships was it. Without a doubt one of the most prestigious and exciting shows to be a part of, in a class with some of the most outstanding mares in the country, she did it. It was her turn... She got the Garland!!

“Uppy” is now very proudly owned by Mark Lilley whose devotion to her borders on reverence. Mark is meticulously planning her future and is very much looking forward with intense anticipation to the day she gently nickers at her newborn foal, and all hopes and dreams are fulfilled.

The pairing of lifelong sweethearts, her Sire Maa’zooz, and her Dam, St Cloud Park Mona has been repeated for a 2007 baby. This, and other especially inspiring promises have all at The Palms looking very much forward to the future as The Dream Continues.
